The catch with sublimation is the shirt itself. Full cotton eats the ink and gives you a faded, vintage look, which I actually did not hate, but if you want the colors loud you need polyester in the blend. I pressed mine on a white 65/35 tee and it came out bright enough that my daughter asked why hers was the boring one. A whole negotiation followed.
Nitpick: zoom in on the edges before you print. My first print at full size showed a faint halo around the lettering, and dropping the design to ten inches wide cleaned it right up.
A Shirt for the Adults Handing Out the Candy
Not every shirt in the stack has to be for the kids. This one is mine. A margarita with a Halloween attitude, and I pressed it specifically for the neighborhood party where the adults stand around the snack table pretending they are only there to supervise.
It pressed beautifully as a printed transfer, salt rim and all. I did mine on a black tee and the glass really pops against it.

Nitpick: dark artwork on a dark shirt turns to mud. Give it a light gray or cream tee so the shading has somewhere to go.

This one leans harder into the classic horror-poster look, and it holds together at a distance better than its sibling, the shapes are bigger and the contrast does more of the work. If you only take one of the two, and someone in your house is the dramatic type, take this one.
Small gripe: the design wants to be big. At eight inches it felt timid on an adult large. I reprinted at eleven and a half and stopped apologizing for it.

My sister is a nurse and she has worked Halloween night three years running, so this year her shirt was the first one I made. A nurse design with the spooky trimmings, the kind of thing she can wear over her scrubs at the desk before the shift actually starts.

Full disclosure, this is not a shirt file and I grabbed it anyway. When you are already handing a kid a fresh-pressed ghost shirt, tucking a coffin-shaped bookmark on top costs you nothing and looks like you planned the whole thing weeks ahead. I had not. It was the Thursday before.
I cut a batch from 110 lb black cardstock, which my machine complained about but managed, and the shapes came out sharp. My daughter’s teacher got one. The neighbor kid asked for two and negotiated a third.
Nitpick: like the jar characters, this set is tagged for laser work, and a couple of the fancier coffins have cuts too fine for a blade on cardstock. Stick to the simpler shapes in the set and they cut clean every time.
